Lucifer plot hole: Dan and Lucifer shooting scene mistake | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

The devil’s powers have often been a cause of discussion amongst fans, and some are still puzzled why some attacks seem to affect him more than others.

Luckily, some perceptive viewers appeared to have the answer when they reasoned it all depends on whether Lucifer sees the attack coming.

One fan replied: “This is one of the most inconsistent things about the show, I think their explanation might be that when it’s unexpected it hits differently, kinda like tensing up before getting punched.”

As Lucifer never believed Dan was capable of actually shooting him, the shot came as a huge surprise when the riled up detective broke into his penthouse.

Lucifer Season 5, Part 1 is available to stream on Netflix.
