Lord Sugar blasts ‘nodding puppy’ Susanna and ‘spiteful p***k’ Piers amid GMB snub claim | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Taking to Twitter, The Apprentice frontman Lord Sugar, 73, claimed Matt Hancock, 42, was “cannon fodder from that spiteful p***k Piers Morgan“, following his appearance on Good Morning Britain today. In a further rant, he said the journalist’s co-star Susanna Reid, 50, was a “nodding puppy”.

In response to his tweet, a Twitter user wrote: “Get you on there, that would be an excellent interview.”

He replied: “The coward @piersmorgan and his nodding puppy @susannareid100 won’t have me on as they know I would wipe the floor with him @gmb.”

It comes after Piers clashed with the Health Secretary, following Boris Johnson’s easing of lockdown announcement.

Piers slammed Matt for the Government’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic and queried him about alleged court documents.

Piers slammed Matt for the Government’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic and queried him over claims he acted unlawfully by failing to publish Covid contracts.

Hancock says delaying publishing the contracts during the pandemic was “the right thing to do”.

The Good Morning Britain presenter ranted on the show: “You and your team have presided over a woeful handling of this pandemic, that has led to us having the worst death toll in Europe, 130,000 people dead.

“So I’m sorry if my first thought when you come on is not to thank you and your team for your brilliant handling of the pandemic.

Last December, the business mogul slammed the father-of-four for not wearing a mask while in a black cab.

After pictures of his error were published, Piers admitted he had forgot before entering the vehicle and corrected his mistake a few seconds later.

Lord Sugar tweeted: “Caught without a mask on @PiersMorgan.

“What does he say ‘fair enough’ can you imagine the noise he would have made on @GMB if it was Boris or some other MP in the same scenario.

“BRUSHED UNDER THE CARPET DUAL STANDARD.”

In a further tweet, Piers said he was “guilty as charged” and branded himself a “covidiot”.

The pair’s feud is believed to have begun in lockdown when Piers blocked him on social media.

In September, Lord Sugar said he will “never make up” with his former pal.

“He’s intent on publicising himself,” he told The Sun.

“That’s it. It’s all about him. No one else. He don’t give a monkey’s about anybody really other than himself.

“His own popularity. That’s all he’s interested in. End of story.”

He went on to say the pair fell out after he told Piers he was “talking a load of rubbish”.
