Love Island 2019 has so far seen two cast members leave the villa, with rumours of a third who had left proving to be false. The ITV 2 series has seen one cast member dumped while one contestant was kicked off for breaking Love Island rules. Yewande Biala and Anna Vakili are currently the bookies’ favourite to be the next to leave the Love Island villa.
Who has left Love Island 2019 so far?
Callum Macleod, the 28-year-old aircraft engineer from Wales, was the first to be dumped from the Love Island 2019 villa.
He entered the show on day one and was partnered with Amber Gill.
However, after he did not show her enough attention, she decided to recouple with Anton Danyluk, leaving Callum single.
In his interview with Caroline Flack on Love Island: Aftersun, he said: “I genuinely think I was true to myself. I didn’t fake anything.
“It’s just unfortunate that there was no one in there that I connected with.”
Chef and semi-pro rugby player Sherif Lanre, 20, was kicked off the show after breaking a Love Island rule.
However, ITV did not reveal which rule he broke, and his exit was not seen or mentioned on the show.
In a statement, Sherif said of his exit: “In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa.
“I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20-year-old guy, it’s something I know I will take on board and learn from.
“I really enjoyed my time in the villa and look forward to catching up with everyone on the outside.”
So far, Callum and Sherif are the only Love Island cast members who have left the show.
On June 12, rumours spread that Anton Danyluk had also left the villa, but this was debunked by ITV.
An insider told The Scottish Sun: “These rumours are completely untrue.”
Who will leave Love Island 2019 next?
PaddyPower currently has Yewande Biala as its favourite to be dumped from the villa.*
However, as her relationship with new arrival Danny Williams grows, this could be enough to save her in the next recoupling where boys and likely to choose the girls.
Coral currently have Anton Danyluk as the next boy to leave the villa with odds of 2/1 of him being dumped.
