Love Island 2019 tonight (Monday, June 3) saw the contestants couple up for the first time. ITV2 viewers saw contestants like Lucie Donlan, Yewande Biala and Anna Vakili choose which boys they would be in couples with. Tommy Fury and Curtis Pritchard are not currently in a couple, which could mean there will be some new couplings in the next few days.
Who coupled up with who on Love Island tonight?
Anton Danyluk and Amy Hart
Anton was the first of the Love Island 2019 boys to enter the villa.
Amy Hart was the only girl to step forward for Anton and he then chose her.
The other girls said they would not step forward for the gym owner as he was too groomed and not tall enough.
Sherif Lanre and Anna Vakili
Rugby player and chef Lanre was next up to be picked by the girls.
None of the girls stepped forward for Sherif, giving him free choice of the Love Island ladies.
When Caroline Flack asked him who he wanted to couple up with, he picked beauty therapist Amber Gill, though she later abandoned him for Callum.
After sitting on the subs bench, he chose to couple with Anna Vakili.
Michael Griffiths and Yewande Biala
Firefighter Michael Griffiths was the third boy into the villa.
Lucie Donlan was the only girl who stepped forward for the tattooed 27-year-old.
However, she then abandoned him for Joe Garratt, leaving him on the subs bench.
After Michael chose Anna, he was left with the last girl, scientist Yewande Biala.
Joe Garratt and Lucie Donlan
Catering company owner Joe Griffiths was the next up to be coupled up.
Yewande stepped forward, as did Lucie Donlan, who abandoned her first choice, Michael.
Joe chose to steal Lucie, leaving Michael briefly on the subs bench.
Callum Macleod and Amber Gill
Aircraft engineer Callum Macleod was the last of the first set of boys to enter the villa.
Amber stepped forward for Callum, leaving Sherif uncoupled until he chose Anna Vakili.
He then picked Amber, saying: “She definitely caught my eye.”
Latecomers Tommy Fury and Curtis Pritchard are currently uncoupled, though this may change in the next coupling on the ITV2 series.
Love Island airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2
