Game of Thrones didn’t start off as the household name it is now, and season one experienced a number of technical restrictions despite its generous HBO budget of approximately $6 million per episode.
By the time the series reached season eight, the final six episodes cost a total of $90 million to make, allowing the production to be far more polished.
Thankfully, most fans were able to overlook errors like these, and season one of Game of Thrones cemented the fantasy drama as one of the best new TV shows when it aired back in 2011.
Game of Thrones is available to stream on Now TV.
