EastEnders spoilers Whitney Dean to reveal she’s pregnant to Callum Halfway? | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Whitney (played by Shona McGarthy) was left heartbroken just hours before her wedding day to Callum (Tony Clay) when he confessed he’d cheated on her with Ben (Max Bowden) earlier this year on EastEnders. Although the bride-to-be tried to look past the infidelity, she continued with the wedding only to jilt her lover at the alter. Since then, the beloved character has taken a break from the BBC soap but will soon be back to drop a bombshell on Callum, is she pregnant?

Following her doomed wedding day, which ended with killer Hunter Owen (Charlie Winter) holding the guest hostage in the Queen Vic, Whitney turned to the bottle to drown her sorrows.

Although Callum tried to make amends with his ex-girlfriend, he had greater concern for Ben, who had been shot and was recovering in hospital.

It was only because of her step-mother Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) did the distraught bride decide to make the most of the situation and venture on the couple’s honeymoon by herself.

As her former husband-to-be starts to date the young Walford gangster, Whitney will return to set the cat amongst the pigeons.

Upcoming spoilers and reports from The Mirror have revealed the heartbroken fashionista and her groom will come face-to-face, with the discussion set to be explosive.

Whitney will drop a bombshell of epic proportions on Callum and although it’s not be announced what the news is, could the former reveal she is pregnant?

A pregnancy for the love-torn couple is sure to send shockwaves throughout the Square, but could this be the end of Callum’s blossoming romance with Ben before the men have had a chance at happiness?

Before producers decided to explore Callum’s sexuality, he and Whitney were set to face a struggle with a pregnancy originally in the pipeline.

Kate continued: “And that was nothing to do with the actors who were fantastic and giving these amazing performances, but the relationship felt so new, felt so young, I didn’t really know why they would want to drive their lives in that direction.”

If Callum and Ben’s relationship is put in jeopardy, fans of the pair could be left devastated as actors Tony and Max revealed the support their coupling has received.

“I don’t think either of us expected it to be as immediate and as brilliant as it’s been,” Ben star Max explained.

“It’s such an interesting dynamic for us to play because as different as they are, they both have so many similarities.”

The actor continued: “They come from this really dysfunctional background of toxic masculinity and Ben’s been though it and I think that’s what’s been so great.”

Tony added: “They’re kids both from troubled backgrounds in their own sort of way. They’ve both taken very different paths.

“I think now they’ve met at the right age, at the right sort of time and I think at the right moment in their lives.

“They are so different, they’re worlds apart on so many things but equally, there’s that thing they come back to and it all stems from dad. I think it’s such an

interesting thing to see.”

EastEnders continues Monday at 8pm on BBC One.
