Dancing On Ice was back after last weekend saw TV presenter Trisha Goddard become the first contestant to become eliminated alongside professional skater Lukasz Rozycki. However, another contestant was missing tonight as Holly Willoughby announced Caprice and partner Hamish Gaman had “parted ways” at the beginning of tonight’s show.
The show, which features celebrities turned skaters, saw Trisha Goddard become the first to depart after being in the skate-off alongside ITV news reporter Lucrezia Millarini.
The judges chose to save Lucrezia and Trisha was sent home, but tonight another pair were absent from the competition.
As the show returned tonight, Holly announced: “Caprice and Hamish parted ways and will not be taking part.”
Holly then indicated Caprice could be back to perform again in next weekend’s show, so it is unclear what has happened between the pair.
In a statement to Express.co.uk, ITV said: “Unfortunately, Caprice and Hamish have parted ways.
“As you saw in our opening number Hamish remains very much part of our professional team and we hope to have Caprice back on the ice next week.”
